We are proud to announce that Wizeline is hosting the inaugural 5k Race For Inclusion in Guadalajara, Mexico on Saturday, May 26, 2018. The community event will raise funds for Laboratoria, a non-profit devoted to closing the gender gap in tech. Wizeline believes in the value of diverse and inclusive teams and hopes to lead the charge in uniting Guadalajara’s vibrant tech scene to support women in tech.

We are actively seeking sponsors for the event. Sponsorship packages start at $500 USD, and all funds will go directly to Laboratoria. Sponsors will receive recognition on promotional material and social media for the event and are invited to participate in the pre-race event hosted at our Guadalajara office. Current sponsors include SkyCatch, IBM, Unosquare, and Rappi.

Support the cause

Education is the first step of inclusion. Laboratoria believes there are millions of women in Latin America with the potential to be leaders of the digital world. Laboratoria participants go through a six-month bootcamp to learn front-end development and receive networking and professional development opportunities upon graduation. The program has graduated 580 women and placed them with over 200 employers.

The race will take place at Guadalajara’s Parque Metropolitano on Saturday, May 26th, 2018. If you are interested in running the race, register today and invite your friends and teammates to join. We only have space for 500 runners, so register before tickets run out! Runners will be able to pick up their race t-shirt a week prior on Saturday, May 19.
